Hops: Hallertau Perle | Malt: German Munich, Melanoidan, Carafa I
The Brewhouse Bock is our traditional German Bock Lager. Bock’s defining characteristic is the rich malt character from the traditional German Munich malt. The Brewhouse bock pours a deep red-brown color with an off-white head. Malty beginning, middle, and end, this beer exhibits really nice toasted bread notes, low hop presence (just enough to balance the malt), and a slight hint of caramel. It’s like liquid bread. A firm ABV warms the belly, while a clean dry finish keeps you coming back for more.
