We took our recipe for Park Point Pilsener and used Mandarina Bavaria hops in place of German Saphir. Mandarin Bavaria hops, as you might guess from the name, have a strong citrus character. This beer contains clean aromas of pilsener malt and orange notes from the hops. It is hoppy with a crisp lagered finish. The Mandarina Bavaria hops show themselves well in the beer’s flavor as well, coming through as a distinct orange character. Aging this beer smoothes out the flavors and makes for a delightful finish on the palate.
